Introduction

Graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature at National Dong Hwa University. Currently a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature at National Taiwan University. Authored a novel, "The Strange Surprising Adventures in Formosa, an Island Beside Formosa Strait and Her One Hundred Years in History" and co-authored "In words we thrive : the history of the liberal arts publishing industry in Taiwan," "Island Memories, Hidden Shadows: Stories of Translating Taiwanese Literature," and a reference book for "Unexpected."

Resident planning

I plan to write a short story of no more than 20,000 words. The story is set in a near-future world. A former participant in the democratization movement becomes a "witness" in the "Museum of Memory." Using high-tech tools that preserve memories, he shares these memories with the public. To ensure the purity of these memories and prevent any distortion, the "witness" is prohibited from accessing external information. This restriction, however, triggers anxiety in the witness — for him, only through constant dialogue with the present can the memories hold their true meanings. This leads him to embark on a series of efforts to break the restrictions and communicate with the outside world...
