• Notification on the collection, processing, and use of personal data
  • In line with protecting personal data, privacy, and related rights, and as stated in Article 8.1 of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), all government and non-government agencies shall expressly inform users regarding the several issues listed below.     • Name of the government / non-government agency: Taiwan Literature Base (TLB), National Museum of Taiwan Literature
    • Data collection policy: The TLB collects, processes, and uses personal data collected in accordance with PDPA stipulations.
    • Personal data items collected: Name, telephone, and email address.
  • Associated time period, territory, recipients, and methods of personal data use.
    • Time Period: During business hours or other time period required to complete business.
    • Territory: Within the borders of Taiwan, the Republic of China.
    • Target: TLB, joint marketing or collaborating promotion organizations, and legally authorized agencies.
    • Methods: electronic newsletters, emails, telephone, and/or other automated or non-automated methods.
• The rights and methods that parties may exercise in accordance with Article 3 of the PDPA. According to the provisions of Article 3 of the PDPA, you may exercise the following rights with respect to your personal data held by the TLB: inquiring, reading, copying, supplementing, correcting, requesting suspension of collection, requesting a halt to processing, requesting suspension of use, and requesting deletion. • The effects of (your)refusal to provide personal data You are free to choose whether or not to provide your personal data to us. Choosing to not provide this data will render the TLB unable to perform related business reviews / processing operations and will result in our being unable to provide you with related services.
• After reading this notification, you acknowledge that the information within complies with the requirements of the PDPA and other relevant regulations and that submitting your acceptance shall serve as your written consent for TLB to collect, process, and use your personal data.
• Any matters not covered in this notification shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of the PDPA and other relevant regulations.
