Resident planning

The method of creating a "Sliced Panorama" is a response to the concepts of linear time and the "future." It attempts to open up a field, where objects within the field collectively create, emerge, arrange, and interpret an ever-expanding and deepening moment. The purpose is to use writing and various means to extend space to continuously resist the domination of the nihilistic deferral of continuous time. The current project, "Sliced Panorama III: Taiwan Literature Base," is a continuation of the preliminary draft of "Sliced Panorama II: University of Washington." It will write about four objects based on the premise of the residency: Carlo Scarpa, Japanese gardens, baseball, and expositions. These objects form and change the system, expanding step by step.
