Resident planning

With the publication of my latest collection of essays, Underdog Years: I Would Prefer Not Can Do, and through my Instagram fan page @wouldprefernotcando , I plan to attract literary enthusiasts from around the world to visit and engage in discussions. As such, in addition to the weekly activities specified in the residency program, I will also open up weekday evenings for friends of literature far and wide to come and gather. During my residency, I hope to discuss the definition of non-fiction writing with people from all over the world. I will place emphasis on providing a space for discussion and dialogue, as its main benefit lies in lectures and discussions. I hope that the weekend conversations and weekday discussions can be combined into a literary event about Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Asia that is aimed at the world.
