Resident planning

Polishing the Stardust of Memory - A Science Fiction Novella about Kaohsiung and Hong Kong Since 2019, the stench of tear gas lingering on the streets of Hong Kong has been captured in countless images. Even in the form of photos, it is still difficult to swallow the malice captured within them. As for Kaohsiung, where the air is often less than ideal, not even a series of urban renewal projects can hold off the occasional haze from enshrouding the city. Whether tear gas or smog, the smell is something local residents have experienced firsthand. If the memories of a smell have a certain permanence and are accompanied by physical discomfort, can souls traumatized by disaster be resuscitated by human interactions? Could it be that these souls and relationships, after suffering torture, have the chance to let their indelible scars scatter like stardust in the wind? While writing on this theme, I look forward to reaching a wider range of memories and experiences, and I hope to engage with the public to share about the journey of individual healing.
