Resident planning
Through arts and cultural activities, such as glove puppetry, standup comedy, and Kunqu, Tang is committed to promoting traditional Taiwanese arts and culture, and try to provide a different kind of dialogue to pass on traditional arts in difficult circumstances. As a writer, lecturer, enthusiast, and performer, Tang hopes to use this residency as an opportunity to develop a novel outline for adaptation into a film or television production, in the hope that both traditional Taiwanese art and culture and the new stand-up comedy can be better developed, and to be heard and seen by bigger audiences.
