Resident planning

The global firefly population dropped sharply in the second half of the twentieth century. In East Asia, fireflies mainly face threats such as light pollution, habitat loss, pesticide use, and water pollution. These threats are tightly coupled with the environmental changes in the wake of the post-war industrialization. However, Taipei City has launched a series of rehabilitation projects in recent years, trying to attract the disappeared fireflies back to the city. In this story, what is nature? What is unnatural? In the face of such confusion, I hope to break away from the traditional perspective of opposition between man and nature, plan a ten-episode series of radio programs for the season, and use the example of fireflies to talk about the multi-species but human-center relationship.
