Resident planning

Garden. Zhongxiao Road: Crossing 9,000 Kilometers For You juxtaposes several sections of park life from personal memories, including Zhongxiao Park near Qidong Street, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park at the other end of Zhongxiao East Road, the 228 Peace Memorial Park, which Li walked by every work day while working at the magazine, the Boston Public Garden, in which Li sauntered and lingered while living abroad, and so forth. Li uses gardens as a landscape common thread to run through the memories of the past, and he also shows the evolution of modern public spaces, the gradual retreating of nature and open spaces in the city, and even the cultural relics.
