Resident planning

Liao Tian-Ding is a well-known legend in Taiwan. In addition to the historical facts, he has become a symbol of certain nationalism (at least an anti-Japan symbol) with the adaptation of various dramas. However, is this type of nationalism narration “proper”? I want to discuss this issue in “The Return of Liao Tian-Ding”. Imagine a parallel world where he was not caught and kept robbing and colluding anti-Japan forces as a masked bandit till the 30s. Meanwhile, a teenager also named Liao Tian-Ding being mocked and bullied because of his name grew hatred on the anti-Japan forces, was proud of being a Japanese, and befriended with a son of Japanese police officer. One day, he met Liao Tian-Ding who was chased by the Japanese police force while gravely injured and fainted on the ground. The teenage Liao Tian-Ding took the bandit’s mask off and found a birth mark on the bandit’s face the same as his own. Is this bandit Liao Tian-Ding his future self? Why would he become such an anti-Japan extremist? How did he travel to the past? At this point, the Taiwanese boy convinced of his own Japanese identity was stunned and stashed Liao Tian-Ding. During this residency, I will finish the character setting, story line, and necessary literary review of “The Return of Liao Tian-Ding” and will adopt the setting of “Muse Garden” as one scene setting in the story.
