Introduction
Born in Yonghe and a graduate from the Chinese Department at National Taiwan University, Kailing’s creative writing career touches on poetry, novels, theater, film, and television. She is a freelance screenwriter. Her poems have been included in a number of compendiums. Her novels have won many awards, including the Taipei Literature Award, the Lin Yutang Literature Creation Award, the Hong Kong Youth Literature Award, and the Legal Literature Award. Her award-winning published works include "Eye", "Jail", and "Meeting Dishes". Her theatrical plays were shortlisted for the Taiwan Literature Award. "The Madhouse in the Pacific" is a collection of her script work. In the realm of film and television screenwriting, she has won the Excellent Screenplay Award, the Taipei Film Screenplay Award, and the Golden Horse Award for best adapted screenplay. She has been shortlisted for many Golden Bell Awards and TV screenplays, and she has contributed to works such as "Please Close Your Eyes at Dusk", "The Angry Bodhisattva", and "Back to School".
