Writer-in-Residence
Yi-Chen Tsai
- Graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature at National Dong Hwa University. Currently a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Literature at National Taiwan University. Authored a novel, The Strange Surprising Adventures in Formosa, an Island Beside Formosa Strait and Her One Hundred Years in History and co-authored In words we thrive : the history of the liberal arts publishing industry in Taiwan, Island Memories, Hidden Shadows: Stories of Translating Taiwanese Literature, and a reference book for Unexpected.

臺灣文學研究在研究什麼？臺文界近年在推的轉譯又是什麼東西？研究跟創作有沒有可以互通的東西？本場講座，我將依個人經歷，分享當代臺灣文學研究與創作的關係。包括創作者如何利用研究資源，增添小說史料細節；又或是研究者如何透過研究，與創作者開展競爭或合作的可能。
